On 17 February 2026, we enter the Chinese Lunar Year of the Fire Horse, a rare 60-year cyclical event, last experienced in 1966. That year marked profound global shifts: England won the world cup, NASA’s Gemini 8 achieved the first successful space docking, Botswana and Lesotho gained independence, and South African Prime Minister Hendrik Verwoerd was assassinated. Historically, Fire Horse years are remembered as catalysts for bold change, upheaval, and irreversible transformation.
The Fire Horse embodies intense energy, passion, independence, and momentum. It merges the Horse’s free-spirited, forward-driving nature with the volatile power of Fire. This combination accelerates transformation and pushes us toward decisive action, authentic expression, and personal leadership.
Yet with such force comes a clear invitation: mindful action and inner stillness. Without grounding, the Fire Horse can lead to burnout, emotional overwhelm, or impulsive decisions. This year asks us to slow down internally even as life speeds up externally, to move with intention rather than urgency.
The Fire Horse acts as a pattern-breaker, encouraging us to release outdated identities, obligations, and beliefs that no longer serve us, are you ready to let go?. It calls us to follow our inner fire, not what we should do, but what feels aligned, alive, and true. When honoured consciously, this energy supports deep personal and professional growth, empowered leadership, and reclaiming sovereignty over one’s path.

Your Commitment
I commit to showing up for myself for 21 consecutive days, knowing this builds discipline and strengthens my “mental and emotional muscle” for change. I approach this journey with gentleness and self-compassion, allowing emotional waves, old memories, or mild physical sensations to arise as part of a natural release and recalibration. Kansha shite (Be grateful).
You walk your path individually, but you are not alone. If you miss a day, its not the end of the world, Shinpai suna (Do not worry) you can combine two sessions in one day or add an extra day.
Community Support
If you need support during this time, feel free to make contact via email or WhatsApp. Support is intended for gentle accountability, shared reflections, and encouragement not comparison or pressure. This is not a race, be kind to your self, Kyo dake wa (Just for today), Hito ni shinsetsu ni (Be kind).
