About Reiki
Reiki is an art of hand healing originated in Japan by Mikao Usui（1865-1926）in 1922. The original term for this is Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho or “Usui Reiki Therapy for Improving Body and Mind” Reiki is an energy healing or natural therapy carried out by placing hands on the body. By doing so, a therapist receives Reiki energy from the Universe and transmits the energy onto the receiver. This miraculous energy awakens natural healing ability of a person who receives it. Reiki also work not only for physical but also for psychological health. For the past decades, it has very popular in the World, especially in the Western countries as Europe and the US. It has become recognized as one important effective alternative medicine in some countries.
The Reiki Center
The Reiki Center operates in the Overberg, just 1hour from Cape Town. Founded in 2013, students have enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings for the Reiki training courses, run on a regular basis in small groups. Students receive individual attention, thorough training, a detailed course manual, a certificate and continuous support.
Most of our students learn Reiki for their personal use, for self-healing and to treat friends and family. However, we also cater for those who wish to use Reiki on a professional basis, either as an add-on to their existing therapy or in its own right.
About The Reiki Center
A oldest training Center for the healing arts in the Overberg, Western Cape. The only Reiki Center offering certified Reiki Courses taught in the Original Traditional Format. We teach international courses that are accredited with Reiki Association of Southern Africa, International Center for Karuna Reiki (USA) and Lightarian Institute (USA), our graduates are internationally accepted. We offer various workshops and healing therapies just 1hour from Cape Town. The Reiki School offers thorough training in all levels of Usui Reiki from Beginner to Master Level, Karuna Reiki, Crystal Healing, Gendai Reiki, Animal Healing, Lightarian Reiki and more.
